Inspired by the Lucite lamps of the early 1900s. I use cold-cast Acrylic rather than glass to make these for a few reasons. It is more optically clear than glass. It is UV-protected, so the colours will not fade. If it accidentally falls, it will not shatter. More importantly, if it is knocked against your window, it should not damage it.
