Romantically inspired by soft, warming sands, I feel the cool reach across the waves just in front of the first drops of rain.
I love painting, trying to capture the mood and feeling of what I have seen, often memorising feelings, emotions or the weather temperature in order to capture that memory in paint. You will often see me in bare feet with the door open on a cool, wet day for me to feel the cool, remember the first touch of rain on my face, allowing the memories to come back and help me with the paintbrush.
All my original paintings are signed on the back, I want the painting to be clean and unspoilt. A wee story or poem is often written on the back of the painting too. I hope you enjoy.
